Past Events

The annual Toy Run event attracts well over 100 motorcycle and scooter riders. Participants bring along gifts suitable for children of all ages, to donate to the Salvation Army Christmas Toy Appeal. The Salvation Army sort and wrap them and pass them to children and families who, for a variety of reasons, do not have much joy in their lives at Christmas time. Members of the public are encouraged to bring along a gift on the morning of the run.…

Bring your lanterns and join us for the Lantern Walk through the park. See the lights and lanterns along the way. Starts in the grounds of Southwell Minster and ends at The Minster School with hot drinks, tasty treats and Christmas music by members of The Newark and Sherwood Concert Band.
