Plough Sunday is a traditional English celebration marking the beginning of the agricultural year. This age-old tradition was revived locally by Nottingham based English Longsword side Sullivan’s Sword back in the late 1990’s and begins with the time-honoured church blessing of a real ploughshare together with prayers for the blessing of the land.
