Dickens’ Christmas Voices
Southwell Theatre Club present a selection of favourite readings from the pen of Charles Dickens. Tickets are £9 and include a festive glass of mulled wine and a mince pie. Tickets are available from Southwell Library. Performances will take place on the evenings of 10th and 11th December.

Carols for Everyone is back! Southwell Lions’ popular Christmas celebration takes place at Southwell Minster. The fantastic programme will include traditional carols as well as entertainment from Bleasby School Choir and the Major Oak Chorus. Volunteers needed for tree planting in Southwell! If you'd like to volunteer then please click on the links below to book a place. Nottinghamshire Tree Planters are working in partnership with Southwell Town Council to strengthen the wildlife corridor in Froggatt’s Field and also in the Minster Field, alongside Squire's Pond, Southwell. Southwell Music Festival returns this December for a one-night-only Christmas Celebration in the exquisite surroundings of Southwell Minster. Gather with family and friends for a programme of seasonal words and choral music performed by Southwell Festival Voices, conducted by Artistic Director Marcus Farnsworth with readings from actor Philip Franks.
