Bring your lantern and join others on this seasonal walk through Southwell starting and finishing in the grounds of Southwell Minster. Please note there will be no indoor element at this year's event. Words and music for the festive season, with the girl choristers of the Cathedral Choir. This concert will take you on a journey through from Advent to Christmas with plenty of atmospheric music and beautiful poetry, as well as some popular tunes. Carols for Everyone is back! Southwell Lions’ popular Christmas celebration takes place at Southwell Minster. The fantastic programme will include traditional carols as well as entertainment from Bleasby School Choir and the Major Oak Chorus. Southwell Orchestral Society will be providing the music, while Southwell Choral Society will lead the singing. Volunteers needed for tree planting in Southwell! If you'd like to volunteer then please click on the links below to book a place. Nottinghamshire Tree Planters are working in partnership with Southwell Town Council to strengthen the wildlife corridor in Froggatt’s Field and also in the Minster Field, alongside Squire's Pond, Southwell.
