Anti-social behaviour on War Memorial Recreation Ground. There have been multiple instances involving broken glass bottles strewn across play areas and car parks in recent weeks. Now we also have a stray recycling bin and severely damaged Heras fencing panels, around the spiders net (which is awaiting repair). This damage will cost the Town Council a considerable amount of money to replace, and a lot of staff time to clear up and repair. This means that other projects will have to be postponed. These incidents have been reported to the police, who assure us that additional patrols will take place. If you witness any anti-social or criminal behaviour please report it.
