SUMMARY:Carols for Everyone
DESCRIPTION:Carols for Everyone is back! Southwell Lions’ popular Christmas celebration takes place at Southwell Minster. The fantastic programme will include traditional carols as well as entertainment from Bleasby School Choir and the Major Oak Chorus. Southwell Orchestral Society will be providing the music\, while Southwell Choral Society will lead the singing. Master of Ceremonies will be the incomparable Nick Harding\, who wants to remind everyone to bring their jingly bells and rattles! \nThe chosen charity this year is Support Refugees in Southwell (SRiS)\, a small local charity that supports Syrian and two recently-arrived Afghan families who have escaped their war-torn homelands under the Government’s Resettlement Programmes. \nTickets are on sale at The Cathedral Shop Southwell (£7.50 for adults\, £5.00 for children). Due to ongoing Covid-restrictions\, seats are limited to just 350 seats.
