Peter is a retired Architect and first moved to Southwell in 1978. He is passionate about the quality of life in the town, particularly with regard to the appearance, appropriateness, and sustainability of new developments. He brings his expertise and interest to the Town Council to help maintain Southwell as an attractive and viable town in the future.
His career in hospital design took him away from Southwell in the 1990s when he moved to Hong Kong and later to London. He retired to Southwell in 2008. He is married to Vivien and has two daughters, both of whom attended the Lowes Wong and Minster Schools. Peter and always been interested in Community affairs. He was on the committee of the Minster School PTA from 1983 until 1994 and was the chair for several years.
He is on the Planning Committee of the Civic Society and is helping to digitise its photo archive. He was on the Steering Group of the Neighbourhood Plan, runs a learning Group for Southwell U3A, chairs the Southwell Branch of the Liberal Democrats and plays for Southwell Town Bowls Club.
