Many thanks to the Southwell Civic Society, the Southwell Community Archaeology Group and Southwell resident Mr Fred Ardron who have generously contributed to the purchase of this important piece of land for the town. The Orchard adjoins the site of the Roman Remains on Church Streetand will be preserved permanently as a tranquil green space. More information and pictures in the next issue.
