The Roll of Honour in the Minster commemorates those Southwell men who gave their lives in the service of their country.  It was discovered that some names had been omitted and these are now to be added the Roll of Honour on a  new memorial that will be placed at the side of the original. The service will take place on Saturday 30^th April in the Minster at 11.00am. Please contact the Town Council office if you would like to attend.  On the same evening the Royal British Legion is launching its ‘Concerts In the Cathedral’ programme with a performance by the Royal Airforce Band who you may remember gave a wonderful performance in the  War Memorial Park at the Sunset Ceremony.
