The bad weather caused many residents great problems, in particular some not being able to even leave their homes to get to the shops. Many thanks to the kind neighbours and friends who looked in and checked on their neighbours and helped by clearing snow off the paths and running errands.

Hopefully we have now seen the last of the very cold weather this winter but harsh weather may become a regular pattern so we are asking residents to ‘Be Prepared’.  So, well in advance of next winter: buy your snow shovel, identify older residents who live near you who might need help when the weather is bad and make sure your loft spaces and pipes are well insulated.
