Newark & Sherwood District Council would like your help to complete research
All the local authorities in Nottinghamshire have been working together to plan for the long-term housing and support needs of older people. The District Council carried out a survey earlier this year and, although it got a lot of responses, it did not have enough from people living in the Newark and Sherwood area. This means that it cannot be as confident about the results in this area as it would like, so they are now trying to boost the number of responses.
If you are aged 50 or over, please follow the link below to complete an anonymous online survey about your housing situation and your future needs. The survey should take around ten minutes to complete. Your responses will not be identified back to you, and they will help to plan for the housing and services needed in the future, which may benefit you at that time.
If you are able to complete the survey on behalf of someone who is over 50 and living in the area (e.g. a parent, partner or friend), then this would be very helpful as well, although you will need to be certain about their future plans and their feelings about where they live now and the options for the future. We do wish to see as many responses as we can.
