Born in Southwell, I attended Holy Trinity Infants, Methodist Primary and Junior and Lowes Wong Schools before passing 11+ moving on to Southwell Minster Grammar School.

In 22 years service in the RAF I served in Northern Ireland, The Falklands and with the United Nations Peace Keeping Force in Cyprus with 'home' postings at Scampton and Cranwell.

Married Anna in September 2001. Living at Brackenhurst with little Jack Russell Millie and her partner in crime, Nancy, we have recently been blessed with our new addition Matthew - born on 16th June 2005.

I have served as the Town Council's only Independent since being elected in 2003 and proud to say that I have no political affiliations. I would just love to see Southwell as a Town that we all can be proud of.
