I have lived in Southwell with my husband since 2000 after moving from Oxfordshire where I was a secondary school teacher and deputy head.

Two of our three children also live in the town, together with their spouses and school age families. The third lives permanently in South America.

My particular interest on the Town Council is Tourism and I hope to continue to develop this for the town with the Southwell Tourism Partnership. I firmly believe that a wide variety of events for residents also encourage visitors to Southwell and this then has a direct positive impact on Southwell's economic vibrancy.

In my spare time, I am an enthusiastic bridge player, keen gardener and enjoy social patchworking.
