Southwell Town Council is represented by 15 elected Town Councillors. A full list of councillors can be found by going onto the contacts page.

The Council office is located on the Burgage where the full Council meets on the third Wednesday of every month. A Planning meeting is held on the first Wednesday of the month, and a Finance and Policy meeting is held every second month on the second Wednesday.

We also have a number of committees which have been created to address specific local issues, such as Community Speed Watch, a Tourism Partnership and a Planning Working Party which is looking at crucial issues such as Housing Needs and Car Parking provision as well as working on the Economic Vibrancy of the Town.
